GOD's Work

I was blessed this past weekend to be invited by Team Satty to Ridgeway,IL and help the tornado victims.  First I have never seen a town after a tornado so I didn't know what to expect.  What I got was an education.  I went in thinking I would focus so much on the destruction and feeling sorry for everybody.  I left thinking the exact opposite.  I couldn't believe the generosity and teamwork.  I was pumped to jump in and help!  I enjoyed listening to each individual talk about the experience and what it meant to them or how it changed their life.  I'm writing this today to tell people don't give up opportunities to help others.  Each day we come up with excuses of why we can't help and how there's not enough time but there is enough time.  Make helping others a priority in your life.  We need to get out of our comfort zone sometimes and understand what others are having to go through.  Take advantage of your opportunity!!!  I am also writing to invite each person that is able to come to todd satterfields house at 6:00 tonight for a prayer service.  Let's make a circle around his house!!!!
